Job Description



Graphics Designer



We are looking for a creative and energetic individual who is multi-faceted. You will be responsible for package design, brochures, newsletters, POP, web updates (no web programming skills needed), etc. You should be self motivated and able to demonstrate strong “conceptual” skills with a good eye for design. We are looking for someone with both a creative and marketing savvy who can easily demonstrate ideas and apply those to business. Our products are on retail shelves…presentation is key to success.



Essential Duties



Packaging Design/Development – we have over 100 products and introduce new items into the market each month.

Provide design and conceptual support for all new product initiatives.

Promotional Material Development – Product brochures, signage for retailers, display design, mailers, etc..

Brand Management /Positioning – We sell products under a multi-brand strategy. You will manage the consistencies among packaging, marketing, etc.

Understanding/Learning the Market – It is imperative that our creative designer understands/learns the marketplace – competitors, retailers, promotion – all necessary to know how we can be better than others on the shelf next to us.



Skills Needed



You should be a leader and intuitive in marketing and creative design.

You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You should be skilled in graphic design software apps such as In Design, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.

You should be good at accepting comments and critiques.

You should have strong time management skills and be able to work under deadline pressure in a fast paced environment.
