Solis Women's Health owns and operates 6 radiology clinics in Texas and is looking for schedulers at our Central Plano location. Primary responsibilities of the position include the following:



•Act as point of contact for patients and referring physician offices for scheduling screening, diagnostic, and needle localizations for 6 + diagnostic centers.



•Answer and direct all incoming calls for twelve phone lines. If necessary, take messages for the radiologist and technologist and distribute in a timely manner. Transfer calls to requested department.



•Schedule all appointment requests received via fax and phone. Call patients to verify phone number, requesting physician, and appointment time and date.



•Prepare, organize, and mail all patient reminder postcards for all Solis centers according to exam due date.



•Fold and mail all patient results and doctor reports for all Solis centers.



•Check messages on night service voicemail and return calls as soon as possible.



•Obtain accurate insurance information via phone and enter all relevant patient information into Radiology Information System (RIS) database.



High school diploma or equivalent; Some college or medical office certification preferred

Minimum of one year experience in scheduling or in a call center environment

Minimum of one year in healthcare/medical field

Must demonstrate outstanding customer service skills

Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task

Must be able to type a minimum of 45wpm and be proficient in a Windows environment
