EDITOR / PUBLISHER local crime magazine
Dallas, TX • 08/23/2007
We need an editor / owner for the local edition of "Crime Patrol." Because of the content of this publication, the editor / owner should be a civic-minded person with a serious desire, not just to make money doing this, but to clean up the criminal element in the community.
Crime Patrol will be a weekly magazine based in North Carolina, but seeking to have an affiliate in this market. The publication is designed to help the public wage war against crime. We track down wanted fugitives, help locate missing children, and offer crime-prevention tips. Our desire is to create a truly national presence, while not detracting from your ownership of the local edition.
Here's how this works: We need a local owner/editor in this county. This means that it will be your business, yet we, as the parent company, will provide you most of the content. What we provide you will be articles on pages that have already been typeset, and ready for the printer. We'll also give you training (both initial training materials and ongoing training). You will need to provide at least two pages of LOCAL crime-news content, and of course, the ads. While you will pay the cost of printing, the only money you owe us (as opposed to franchises, where you owe a start-up fee) is a 10% commission of all weekly ad sales. If interested in becoming the local editor of CRIME PATROL, email R.C. Brown today for application & sample prototype issue.
