Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Current Texas RN license.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing,

5 years of experience in increasing responsible administrative/leadership positions in Women’s Services. This position reports to Vice President, Patient Care Services.

This position is responsible for providing leadership and direct supervision of the nursing services related to an identified patient population through a team of clinical service coordinators, charge nurses, staff, and administrative assistant.



Has 24-hour responsibility for major departments, which include

Pediatrics

OB/GYN, Women’s Out Patient

Nursery

NICU

Labor & Delivery and Postpartum

GYN Surgery, and

Breastfeeding Support Center

Must be able to participate at the System level with other facilities that have Women’s Services. Must be able to develop and implement new concepts that fit and support the vision and strategic objectives
