I'm a UK based producer looking for 2-3 freelance Powerpoint experts, with excellent spoken and written English, to help with a series of 5 day conferences worldwide. The majority of the work will be taking text amendments, mostly to speaker notes and providing the final show files for projection. The freelancer must work on-site at the event, not remotely.

Dallas 6th - 11th September

It is basically the same 4 day training style conference presented to a different audience by a different set of presenters each time. The presentations are prepared in advance, you would not need to help with this, and when the presenters arrive on site they want to be able to make changes to their speaker note prompts (for which we use a special bit of software that generates the notes page directly from the Powerpoint notes text).

Presenters arrive on Saturday afternoon and may have changes with them. I like to get the offline production office set up on Saturday and have a team meeting to discuss what will be needed the next day, this usually starts at about 4pm. After that we make any changes that have arrived and print fresh copies as requested.

On Sunday morning the presenters have a full day of rehearsals and we provide 4 operators to help make changes, run offline rehearsals (advancing slides etc) and the inevitable printing of new copies...
This usually finishes at around 6pm, although it can go on later.

During the rest of the week we need 2 operators who are available to take changes and help with rehearsals in the evening, from 6pm to 10pm. I try to make sure everyone gets some time off during the day, or starts later to make up for the later evenings.

The work is not very creative I'm afraid, but it needs people with a calm attitude and Powerpoint skills to keep nervous presenters happy.

We provide PC's with Powerpoint already installed, plus crew meals etc.
