Friends of Fair Park presents
FAIR PARK HOLIDAY LIGHTS

Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14 (3 – 8 p.m.)

Fair Park
Dallas, Texas

Dallas Wind Symphony concerts, horse-drawn carriage rides, outdoor holiday movies at the Cotton Bowl, lights galore and even a little snow are on tap for Fair Park Holiday Lights, a two-day festival on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14 on the grounds of Fair Park.

Thousands of LED lights will be shining throughout the park during the holiday season!

The family-friendly event will feature the Official City of Dallas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday at 6 p.m., and there will be a special candlelight tribute to the men and women serving in the military both nights at that time. Come enjoy free admission to all Fair Park museums from 3 – 7 p.m.
The Dallas Wind Symphony will perform holiday concerts both days at 4:30 p.m. in the Band Shell.
Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and sleeping bags, and wear your favorite holiday PJs
for the first-ever holiday movie both nights on the grassy field of the Cotton Bowl
(7 p.m. on Saturday featuring The Polar Express and 7 p.m. on Sunday featuring Elf – doors to the Cotton Bowl will open at 6:30 p.m.). Take a tour of the newly renovated Cotton Bowl from 3 – 5:30 p.m. both days. And don’t miss tubing down the snow hill (ON SUNDAY ONLY!).

Get some last-minute shopping done at the Holiday Lights Market featuring the Fine Arts and Craft Market. Warm up at the Big D-sized Yule Log. Other Texas-style winter festivities will include hay rides and train rides; holiday fare; musical entertainment; kids crafts, games and activities; and pictures with Santa and the Mrs.! And don’t forget your canned goods to help “Stuff A Dart Bus” benefiting the North Texas Food Bank or your unwrapped new toy for the non-profit organization, Navidad In The Neighborhood. Concessions will be sold at Fair Park and in the Cotton Bowl. Admission and parking are free.

Fair Park Holiday Lights is hosted by Friends of Fair Park, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. For more information, please go to www.fairpark.org.
