As a parent whose 15 and 16 yr olds have frequented Harkins Theatre, I am pleased with their strict enforcement of the R rating rules, which require that persons under 17 be accompanied by an adult. I would bet that if you had asked for a different ticket they would have obliged, as I have never had a bad customer service experience there.

I paid for my 16 year old son paid to see Saw V on the screen outside and went inside to see it and they made him talk to assistance. They wouldnt give him a refund. The fat manager is an asshole. Dont recommend this place for movies. 9 bucks for a ticket.
